#1 Know your size
Remember one thing: Each brand of tights have different sizing charts, so it is important to check out the size chart before buying. You can find Size Chard section on all our product pages. For tights the most relevant is your height and hips circumference. For stockings and hold ups tight circumference and, sometimes, your feet size.
To choose right size of socks you need to know your shoe size, but some of socks are ONE SIZE, meaning they would fit from small to large size. In our shop it’s safe to say that ONE SIZE means 35-41 EU shoe size. But, if you have any doubts, you can always ask us!
#2 Choose the best thickness
The designation for thickness of legwear is denier. Meaning the weight of the fabric of hosiery. There are many thicknesses: 5 denier, 10 denier, and even 200 denier. The higher is this number, the thicker your legwear would be. More denier = more ladder resist. But sheer tights are great for warm days or elegant occasions. Luckily, you don’t have to choose between durability and elegance, there are ladder resist sheer tights.
#3 Find the colour
Choosing the color of legwear is not always easy because of many variable colors available. Knowing what to match with your skin tone or your clothing can help you a lot in choosing the color. The most common colors in Europe are – visone, natural, beige naturale or poudre – these will give a natural look of legs. But…
…Each brand has a different colours names, so don’t choose „natural” just because you always wear „natural”. It may be very different from what you know.
You may also choose other colour than shades of beige and try out red, blue, green… But make sure to match this colour with rest of the outfit.
